ForVeterans is dedicated to offering comprehensive and inclusive transition resources for the diverse Canadian Veteran community. Our platform creates a safe, empathetic environment for Veterans to define and achieve their post-military success. Leveraging AI-driven personalization, ForVeterans.ca is a user-friendly, human-centric online resource, developed with insights from UBC research and trauma-informed design. We provide essential resources including Career Transition Support, Education, Financial Planning, and Health and Wellness, enhanced by features like Mentorship, Volunteer Opportunities, and a rich Research Repository. Addressing the challenges identified by Veterans, ForVeterans focuses on overcoming the complexities of transition resources and the inadequacies of the “one-size-fits-all” approach, especially for minority groups like women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, and the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
